In my waking and dream life, pathways have always
been a recurring image. When I am out painting in plein air, my
eye is often drawn to the way a road disappears into the distance.
You trust that it continues somewhere, out of sight. These paintings
are about the unexpected pathways our lives can take us, into greater
healing and light, and how we must trust that the road does continue
even when we can't see where it goes.
